If you have been arrested a
criminal record was created in your name. Many people believe
that if their case was dismissed or were never convicted they do
not have a criminal record. Unfortunately this is not the
case!
A criminal record or rap
sheet, is a compilation of an individual's identification,
arrest, conviction (law), incarceration, legal status, sex
offender registration, warrant information, and other
relevant criminal history.
Its primary goal is to provide a
comprehensive criminal history for an individual to be used
for many purposes, including for identification, assistance
in developing suspects in an ongoing criminal investigation,
and for enhanced sentencing in criminal prosecutions.

REMOVING YOUR CRIMINAL PAST:
If you are visiting this page, then you have come to
realize that having a criminal record is, by any
measurable standard, a
lifetime sentence.
Even if you have a simple misdemeanor on your
criminal record, or worse still, if your case is
dismissed, the public still has access
to the information and
employers
will not hire you.
Though laws governing what is commonly referred to
as an expungement from
state to state. There are
many advantages to receiving an expungement,
seal, or pardon followed by criminal
database updates that can make your life
simpler and easier. Criminal histories are
maintained by law enforcement agencies on
all levels of government. Private companies,
local police departments, sheriff's offices,
and specialty police agencies may maintain
their own internal databases. On the state
level, state police, troopers, highway
patrol, correctional agencies, and other law
enforcement agencies also maintain separate
databases.

here for detailed information
on how Records Removal Services can expunge,
seal, set-aside, or vacate your
criminal record.
Expungement is a process, not an
event. Even after your expungement is
granted, it is useless until
government and privately owned criminal
databases are updated!
In most cases, criminal databases
have 180 days to remove your name from their
database if a pardon, expungement, seal, or
non-disclosure is granted.
